the file format when the sve an image the pop-up menue aqt the bottom of the dialog box .contains .about ump-teen diferent formats in which youcan save the documen luckly  you dont need to know must are .photoshop  BMP, JPEG,and TIFF photoshop native format when the photoshop native forat if you  `have multiple layers in the document .all the other formats flatten [merge]the layer togather .keep the master image in photoshop formats and then use the save acopy command tosave aflattened copy of image in another format sothat you can import it in to other programs or put it on the internet  BMPis astandard format on windows compuer .it is best for on screenuse (in computer based presentation in general however .TIFF is more flexible.
